Mary Kate Flock is a New York-based strategic marketing professional with a background in social media, influencer marketing, brand partnerships and affiliate marketing. She is currently an Influencer Marketing Manager at Amazon working on the Amazon Ads Educators Program.
She originally found her path to the tech space after interning in various roles across the fashion, beauty and technology industries at companies such as Vera Wang, Clique Media Group, International Cosmetics and Perfumes and Rent the Runway. Her first professional role was at Meta on Instagram’s official fashion handle, @shop, where she worked alongside Eva Chen and Leigh Belz Ray. She then went on to work at Dormify where she oversaw the brand’s influencer strategy, brand partnerships, and strategically relaunched and rebranded Dormify’s brand ambassador program. Mary Kate’s influencer partnerships at Dormify were so popular among the Gen Z audience that her work was credited in Forbes and E News. In her most recent role at Afterpay, Mary Kate assisted with the launch of Afterpay’s advertising program where she worked with top clientele such as Nike, Walmart, FARFETCH, and Saks Fifth Avenue. She also won the company’s Marvelous Mint Award on two separate occasions. This award recognizes employees leading and executing incredible work across the Afterpay business. In addition to this, Mary Kate’s ads team won Rakuten’s Affiliate Publisher of the Year award (2022) and her client partnership with Mac Cosmetics won a DigiDay Technology Award for best affiliate platform (2022).
Mary Kate has a Master of Science in Strategic Marketing Communications from Fordham University Gabelli School of Business where she graduated in the top 5% of her graduating class.
